With pre-orders kicking off for advance screenings of Dune: Part Two and some fans (in the U.S. and Canada) watching a 10-minute sneak peek on IMAX screens, we’re truly on the home stretch heading to the film’s theatrical release on March 1. To celebrate the occasion, this Wednesday also saw the release of not one, but three brand-new movie posters featuring the characters and visuals of Dune.
When Will Dune: Part Two Tickets Go on Sale?
We now have confirmation, from multiple sources, that movie tickets for domestic screenings will be widely available for purchase in the morning of Friday, January 26—reportedly as early as 11:10 a.m. EST / 8:10 a.m PST in some cases (e.g. AMC A-List). Note that exact times may vary across different theater chains and depend on what memberships, if any, you have.
Listings of available screenings are up now, so you may want to already check for your preferred location and time to experience Dune: Part Two. In addition to its regular showtimes beginning from March 1, many theaters are offering previews one day prior. The earliest of these screenings will begin February 29 at 3 p.m. local time.
Movie tickets are likewise expected to go on sale across international territories in the coming days and weeks, however timings will be different from country to country. Refer to our list of Dune: Part Two‘s global release dates and check with your preferred theater regarding showtimes and availability.
Fan First Premiere in IMAX
Would you like to watch the Dune: Part Two early? Moviegoers in the United States and Canada, have the opportunity secure an advanced viewing of Dune: Part Two! On February 25 at 7 p.m. local time, there will be a special “fan first premiere” at IMAX theaters across both countries. At time of writing, tickets for this screening are on sale and going fast. Check the IMAX website (U.S.) or your local IMAX location for availability. In Canada, listings can be found on the Cineplex website.
Trio of Movie Posters
Like the first Dune: Part Two poster, unveiled back in May 2023, the movie’s new main poster focuses on its leads; Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides and Zendaya as Chani.
Next we have the usual ensemble view, showcasing an all-star movie cast that also features Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Souheila Yacoub, and Javier Bardem.
Last, but most certainly not least, we have the IMAX version. This Dune: Part Two movie poster puts the spotlight on Shai-Hulud, the essence of desert power on Arrakis. Nothing can stand in the way of these gargantuan sandworms, not even Emperor Shaddam’s feared Sardaukar legion.
