- Tim Blake Nelson is revealed to have joined Dune: Part Two‘s cast. Although his role remains undisclosed, its probable that he’s playing a key character like Count Hasimir Fenring.
- Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two movie completed principal photography in mid-December 2022, after around five months. Scenes were shot in Italy, Hungary, Jordan, and the production finally wrapped in the United Arab Emirates.
- In the final months of 2022, HBO Max’s Dune: The Sisterhood officially announced 14 cast members, including Mark Strong in the role of Emperor Javicco Corrino.
- Johan Renck, directing the premiere episode of Dune: The Sisterhood, confirmed that production started on November 22, 2022. As of early January 2023, actors were still being sighted near Origo Studios in Budapest, Hungary—that’s where the TV series is being filmed.
- At 2022’s The Game Awards, Funcom released a pre-alpha teaser trailer for Dune: Awakening, their upcoming open world survival MMO game. This offers a first look at footage from the in-game engine.
