I created my first Dune website in 1994 after finding a copy of “The Making of Dune” by Ed Naha, which covered the production of David Lynch’s adaptation, so Dune behind-the-scenes books have always held a special place in my heart.
Having enjoyed The Art and Soul books for Dune: Part One and Part Two I was eagerly awaiting details of not just the Standard Edition hardcover, but also the limited Legacy Edition which previously included exclusive extras like the Fremkit instruction booklet and thumper prop replicas.
For Part Three Legendary Publishing replaces Insight Editions as the publisher, but the book size and page count remains the same. Sadly this time there doesn’t appear to be an eBook version for those wishing to save money or bookshelf space.
At time of writing, the limited Legacy Edition is only available from the Simon & Schuster USA, and may not ship to your country if you live outside the USA.
