This episode is all about the “IMAX Presents: An Exclusive Look at Dune”, first announced on July 13 as the big screen debut of the second trailer. Essentially, a full-blown preview of the movie, running over 30 minutes, was screened on July 21 and 22 in select theaters across the world.
The event consisted of:
- Behind-the-scenes visuals, with comments from the cast, crew, and producers,
- The first 10 minutes of the Dune movie,
- Spice harvester scene, where the Atreides venture into the desert for the first time and encounter a sandworm,
- A candid conversation between Denis Villeneuve and Hans Zimmer, including preview of the latter’s score,
- The official main Dune trailer.
