It’s time! After teasing something big arriving today, Warner Bros. released the second official trailer for Dune: Part Two. This new video—clocking in at a full three minutes—features plenty of new footage from the movie, including the first look at Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV (Christopher Walken). In addition to escalating the war on Arrakis, we get a sense of the inner turmoil faced by Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet). As his power grows, he must reckon with terrible visions of the future.
Here’s the official synopsis for the movie:
Dune: Part Two will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a path of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
Dune: Part Two is currently in post-production. The movie will begin premiering internationally, only in theaters, in November 2023.
