‘Children of Dune’ Folio Society Edition Release

The Folio Society completes its eye-catching collector's edition treatments of Frank Herbert's original 'Dune' trilogy.

It took over eight years for the Folio edition of Dune Messiah to be released, but thankfully the wait for Children of Dune has been much shorter, with this third novel in the original The Great Dune Trilogy being released on September 3, 2024.

The third novel in Frank Herbert’s epic Dune series, continues the saga of the desert planet Arrakis. The story follows the twin children of Paul Atreides, Leto II and Ghanima, who must navigate the treacherous political landscape left in the wake of their father’s mysterious disappearance. As the heirs to immense power and the potential for great transformation, the twins face threats from both within their family and from external forces seeking to control Arrakis and its precious spice, melange. With the desert planet teetering on the brink of ecological and social upheaval, Leto and Ghanima must embrace their unique destinies to shape the future of their world and humanity itself.

Children of Dune was the project of a lifetime. It was thrilling, challenging, and hugely rewarding to depict such a beloved and iconic text. I hope we’ve created something singular and exciting for both longtime fans and those new to the series.
